Nida Dar and 12 Others Attend Female Umpires Induction Course

Lahore, 16 January 2024: Pakistan ladies’ group commander Nida Dar and previous global ladies cricketer Sukhan Faiz were among the 13 members who participated in the Female Umpires enlistment course, which finished today at the Gaddafi Arena in Lahore.

The four-day course initiated on 13 January saw 13 female members go through fundamental instructional meetings, including a comprehension of the game’s laws. On the last day, the members completed a composed examination and had one-on-one meetings.

Individuals from ICC’s Tiptop Board of Umpires, Ahsan Raza, and PCB’s Worldwide Umpire Asif Yaqoob were the educators of this course.

Nida Dar: “It was a vital course as it assisted me with figuring out the laws of the game in an exhaustive way. Furthermore, I needed to be a good example for the little kids and move them to pick the field of umpiring.

“The encounters shared by the first-class board umpires in the course were truly important and will help us later on.”

Ahsan Raza: “As teachers in the four-day course, we talked about playing conditions, regulations, and useful umpiring in the present time. We had intelligent commonsense meetings at the ground, and members were given information about umpiring through video cuts.”
