Dwayne Bravo Joins KKR as Mentor for IPL 2025, Parts Leaves CSK
Dwayne Bravo, the legendary all-rounder from the West Indies, has ended his long-standing association with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and joined Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as a mentor for IPL 2025. One of Bravo’s standout achievements in the IPL is his status as the first player to win the Purple Cap twice, awarded to the tournament’s highest wicket-taker. With 183 wickets in 161 matches, he is currently the third-highest wicket-taker in IPL history. His ability to bowl effectively in the death overs made him one of the most feared bowlers in T20 cricket.
Transition to Coaching and Mentorship
Post-retirement, Bravo has been gradually moving into coaching roles. He took on various coaching responsibilities, including serving as a consultant coach for Afghanistan during the 2024 T20 World Cup, where he helped guide the team to their first-ever semi-final appearance.
